Pink neckwarmer

Everyone in New York (myself included) seems to wear black all winter. This pink neckwarmer would be such a lovely splash of color on the city streets! It's taking all my willpower not to buy it immediately.

I don't own a single piece of clothing that is pink besides the bra I'm currently wearing (which is so pale it borders on nude, haha) but this scarf is amazing! If it's going to be pink, for me it needs to be this sort of perfect pomagranate!

I'm guilty of having a dull-colored winter wardrobe. But this is so cute! And functional!

I JUST bought a pink sweater to try to remedy some of the wintertime all-black my wardrobe has going on. This scarf would do the same job quite nicely, I think!

Loving this punchy pink - could use such a scarf in DC today. It is like Siberia out there!!

Elise said...

Ha! That's exactly how I felt when I posted it... Most of my wardrobe is black or gray and I definitely could use this fun pop of color, and it just looks sooo cozy!

I'm awful about wearing too much black and not enough color. My fiancce jokes that my closet looks like a black white photograph.

my mother in law made me some fuchsia fingerless gloves and sent them to me last week, I love them as I too wear mostly black and they really do add just the right amount of je ne sais quoi to brighten these gray days.

I love that it isn't a true pink, but more of a raspberry. So beautiful. It's when I see fun stuff like this I wish I lived in a climate changing state.

My Style Advice said...

I'm a neutral girl myself. I also love monochromatic outfits; makes me look streamlined and skinny! So, i definitely rock the all-black outfits all the time. Color is popular here in Austin, TX, but i cant stay away from the neutrals!

A pop of color is how i incorporate color into my wardrobe. This scarf is beautiful. Love how it looks so comfy and warm.

I recently purchased a greenish yellow mustard bag... As soon as I got home i instantly got buyers remorse and thought, "Damn, i should have bought the brown one... " I reminded myself at that moment how much i need color in my wardrobe and felt much better. :-)

NOPE! My spending account is FINITO for the time being!

I may have shed a tiny tear.
