Have a fun weekend!

My lovelies, what are your plans for the weekend? Last night I went to the preview of the Martha Stewart Craft Fair and it was a-maz-ing. The fair is today from 12 to 6, so if you live in New York, I'd highly recommend scooting over there! Today our good friend Peter is visiting from England, and hopefully we'll play Taboo (I'm newly obsessed:). Have a fun weekend, my darlings, and here are a few fun posts from around the web...

Easy breezy guy's look + girl's look.

I'd kill for this office view!

Man, what a house.

Anna Bond's great gift guide.

Love this scarf.

A brilliant birthday present for a husband.

Haha, this should exist.

Wren made a pretty dress for Target.

And Nie Nie made a sweet calendar.

(And next week, I'll have gift guides for sisters, friends, dads, and babies. Excited to share!)

Have a good one. xoxo

    Hi Joanna,
Greetings from Sydney, Australia. I'm new to your blog and enjoy it so much, I now start each day checking out what you have been exploring. I loved your brother-in-law's celebration photos. Congratulations to them both for their hard work (and lack of sleep).

I've been a bit down lately as my husbando has been working very very long hours and has worked this weekend. I try and live life through the premise of 'live in the now dude' (Garth or Wayne?). As in, when we have this big house, all will be well, or when you make partner all will be great or when I complete this masters, life will be wonderful. I really think we need to live in the now, take delight in the little things. But sometimes it is hard doing a Masters, 2 small children and a husband who isn't at home as much as he'd like to be. We are all like Pavlov's dogs and run to the door when we hear his key.

Anyway, love your blog. When we lived in London, my office view was from one of the buildings across the river from your Tower Bridge pic. Except that quite a lot of the time the view was my own reflection as it got dark so early (but then so late in summer - so choice).

All the best to you and your boys.
    Take care.
    Liz.

  44. That view from that office is amazing! You're right. I'd beg for an awesome office space like that. I'm hoping that I can have an amazing view like that in the office space Fairfax has. I'm actually looking for an office space with an amazing meeting space in Virginia. The nearer the nation's capital, the better. I'd be lucky if I get that meeting space Washington DC has. It's really great. Most meeting rooms would make you sleepy, but this one doesn't!

Whoops, sorry. Going off-topic there. Oh, Martha Stewart? My wife loves her craft! She's really inspired by her works. If I would've known this earlier, I could have told her and went with her there.
