Snowstorm!
Because of the crazy east coast snowstorms, our flight to New York yesterday was cancelled, so we're in L.A. for three more days. Hope everyone with travel plans is doing OK! What chaos! xoxo

You're missing nothing (as you know). Oof. Not much snow here in DC but bitterly cold high winds...aieee. Hiding in bedroom w/space heater called The Dragon (seriously) + cat + instant Netflix.

i think this christmas has been the craziest for flight cancellations. Being in Germany i know so many people who barely made it home for christmas ... my folks only just made it out of england to spend the holidays with us & many airports were closed over the holidays leaving people stranded.

I am glad you are safe and comfortable but you are missing NYC blanketed... no, completely drowned in snow. It is lovely!
Oh no.... I can relate to the last minute flight changes, I am in Peru and my mom was supposed to meet me here but they wont let her fly out because of the snow, and I havent seen her in a year so I am pretty eager for mother nature to stop throwing a tantrum!!

ah i live in New Jersey and we got over 2 feet of snow! i'm in florida now and i'm suppose to come home wednesday so i hope everythings cleared by then! it's crazy weather all over! it was 39 degrees this morning in southern florida!
Enjoy the sunshine and warm weather...here in DC we dodged the bullet but we have 20mph winds and frigid temps. Ocean City MD got 12 inches, the Deleware beaches got as much as 16 and north of that, well, you already know! I heard it is still snowing in Maine. Pack up that sunshine in your suitcase and Bring It East!
Here in MN we had our version of a snow storm last week. Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

glad you're stuck somewhere so pleasant and warm. The snow is beautiful, but the gale force winds are not. judging from the photo it looks like you guys had a really fun christmas. I'm sure an older toby will delight in the photo of his first christmas.

Yeah, we were supposed to head out back east to see my Dad and our flight got cancelled as well :-/ It was such a bummer.
