My sweets, what are you up to this weekend? The weather in New York has been sooooo beautiful--sunny and cool and crisp and perfect. Toby and I have taken long walks with friends and spent tons of time at the swings lately. Looking forward to a long bike ride with Alex this weekend, and wishing you guys a wonderful break, as well. Meanwhile, here are a few great posts from around the web...Impossibly cool icons.
The perfect holiday party nail polish.
Acks!!! Possibly the cutest Sartorialist photo ever.
A sagging bookshelf.
Why is everything cooler in Sweden?
What pretty rings from Mociun.
A monster spotting in London!
Great rug.
Remember Paris vs. New York? Here's a funny new one.
Cozy vintage coats for chilly days.
Typographic home decor.
Lovely motherhood advice.
Have a good one! xoxo

Enjoy your weekend with those handsome men of yours! I think I'm in need of a long bike ride, too! And maybe some homemade cookies..
ReplyDeleteA bike ride sounds just wonderful. The weather is perfect. I love, love, love mild Autumn nights. Just got in and opened all the windows.
ReplyDeleteHave a great one.
A bike ride does sound wonderful. It's been so cold and rainy here, that I'm missing my bike.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend we will find out the sex of our little one. We told friends and family that the big ultrasound was on the 22nd, just so we could have a week of the news to ourselves without any probing or prodding :)
I remember when you were on your way to Toby's big ultrasound, I think all your readers could hardly wait for the big news!
I loved that Paris vs New York thing!
ReplyDeleteI´m going to spend my new year in Paris and I will promise to take these alternatives into consideration :)
I made a post about Ralph Lauren´s new flagship store in Paris. It looks amazing. And it includes even a Ralph´s restaurant :) I can´t wait to get my fingers into Hampton-style dish in Paris :)
Oh swings! So romantic and so fun! Little Toby must be so cute in them. Swings always have a special place in my heart as that's where me and my hubby shared our first kiss.

My friend Maria and I are driving up to Chicago this morning for a weekend with my cousin who lives there. We're celebrating our 21sts!

ReplyDeleteI loved this photo when I saw it on the Sartorialist this week! It went straight into my "inspiration" folder on my desktop. And it may have been the catalyst behind my relentless etsy search for some vintage cole haan loafers. :) I also love the "walk the walk" advice. If her theory is true, Toby will be an avid cyclist!
