I'm in such a shopping mood this fall! After nine months of wearing nothing but maternity T-shirts, I'm psyched to get some new fun pieces. This Anthropologie outfit is adorable, especially the braided headwrap, which feels very...(wait for it)...French.

that's lovely!
ReplyDeletePerfect for keeping ears warm and your hair in tact. Very sweet - it looks just like a french plaited baguette! (I'm sure they have a proper name for those...)
ReplyDeleteThat plaid coat is really something.
Oh yes, Anthropology! It makes me crazy how many gorgeous outfits they have!
ReplyDeleteThis was my "anthropology is making me crazy post":

They didn't have cute stuff when I came out of my maternity clothes!! BAAAAA.
yes!!
ReplyDeleteI was there this past weekend and could not decide between that exact one, or one with a cute little flower attached.
I left empty handed.
Life is rough, right?
I love that headband
ReplyDeleteThat headwrap is very French, indeed...I am loving that outfit...I need to check out those boots...Arent they lovely?
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday,Joanna
ohhh man! that whole outfit is adorable. hooray for boot weather!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it crazy how awesome Anthro is?! I just want to live in their store every time I go. I like braids in hair and now also in headbands - though here in Phoenix we won't be needing anything warm for quite a while still.
ReplyDeletei'm usually a huge winter hat girl, but i think i'll invest in a braided headband this year. it's so cute. i'm loving her tights too.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving experimenting with dressing French lately - Sunday was all about layering with greys (and a scarf!) I'm finding Jcrew also has some adorable lightweight knits, perfect for such a purpose, and with necklines that make me feel like a dancer!

That headband is sweet and those boots are awesome. I'm diggin' this look.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that headband. oh my French.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the whole outfit, but especially her tights! they are so cute!

My old headband is going to be replaced by this braided one! Love it. Cute little accessories bring so much style when you are bundled up.
ReplyDeleteTres mignon ce petit headwarp, I don't know if it's very French but it's always funny to see what's considered French in America, I love it ! Good to see you back, I have to say I was a bit worried as I didn't see any 'have a relaxing week end' post this week and God knows how much I crave them every Friday :)

ReplyDeleteI bought a headband just like this two years ago, but wasn't exactly sure how to wear it. After seeing this, I can't wait to start digging through boxes to find it. Thanks for the pic!

Super cute and a good reason to not have to do your hair (well, my hair at least). Do you think it's obscene how many comments and followers you have? 'Cause I'm thinking it is. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm just sayin...
i love photos that have an illustrated background. they remind me of klaus voormann's work with twiggy in the 60's.
ReplyDeletei love this whole outfit...i could get used to wearing a nice, warm headband like that. so cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks both warm and pretty. Love it when fashion is both good-looking and functional!

i tried the headband on at Anthro a few weeks ago and it looked sorta like a turban from the front.
ReplyDeleteso cute!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood call, Jo!
ReplyDeleteSo very Frenchy (fabulous) and at the same time so Après ski lodge chic. I just love it...especially perfect for now with this randomly wintry New York weather! xo
Cold weather perfection.
ReplyDeleteI just clicked on Anthro and saw they have my favorite model of their's up on the homepage (the Amelie look alike). When they get it right, they really get it right.
Thanks for posting!
