Stockholm style

Simple yet beautiful. Adding a chambray shirt and black jeans to my fall wishlist. Also, red hair!

I have tried and tried for that color hair for years. It doesn't seem to just appear the way I wish it would though, damn genetics!

My husband & I visited Stockholm last Valentine's Day weekend -- Sweden for Sweeties ♥ It was incredibly cold, but everyone looked so dolled up anyhow! I've never seen such pretty coats, boots, & scarves. When you live in Scandinavia, you learn to look cute no matter the weather!

Isn't it fun seeing styles from other countries?!

so fresh-faced...gorgeous! Happened to see someone with a chambray shirt and a few strands of over the top pearls on with it--another fun look.

i know, she's brave to pair red hair + red lips, but she totally pulls it off!

if you're looking for good skinny black pants, go to the Gap! They've got these "really skinny" (i think that's the name?) black pants and they are soo slimming and comfy. I love them and wear them everywhere when my jeans are in the wash.

This is just like the outfit I typically wear in the pottery studio. Maybe I shouldn't be so embarrassed by it (I guess pairing it with killer shoes would help!). I always love it when you post something and I'm already on the bandwagon with it :-)

I am losing my mind over her hair and her lips!! Seriously need to pull the trigger on becoming a redhead one of these days!

That look never goes out of style. I used to dress like that 30 years ago and still love it!! xxoo :)

I just sent this picture to my sister because she lucked out in the family and got that wonderful strawberryblonde hair that just can't be faked... we also both bought that pair of black jeans from the gap for the fall (they're THAT cute) so my sister could totally pull this look

i'm really in to this combo now too. i love the black toothpick jeans at jcrew....ankle length because i'm a shortie. i got the red hair from my parents...now if i could just find some "just worn in enough" granny-chic boots! happy monday!

I always daydream about having that amazing red hair. It's such a standout. And I think you are right, it might be time to reinvest in some black jeans.

It takes real skill to pair denim together but she does it so well.

I think I need to go muy myself some black jeans now too :)

Thanks for sharing!

Man, i've been searching for a shirt like that EVERYWHERE!! xx

Fortunately, for moi (& redheaded cousins), my mother went on a campaign of "red heads can wear pink, red, or anything they want." I never doubted it...but my cousins were older. She liberated them.

Red lips & red hair? What's the prob, girls?

Buck up & get some nerve. That's what a red head is about (well, part of it anyway)

Cheers

If you see me this fall, this is what I'll be wearing. Maybe with a scarf.
So perfect.

Hello darling. ♥

This is adorable! I love this look for Fall. This Fall has had the best fashion I've seen in quite some time.

I've been looking for a chambray top so this is so inspiring and makes me want one all the more.

Have a fantastic day, dear.

XOXO-
Rachel

Man, I don't really like denim, but this looks great. I think it's her hair and lip color. She could pull off almost anything with those lips and hair.

Samantha said...

I think I need to jump on the chambray shirt bandwagon! Love this look!

The boots totally make that effortless, "oh, does this look fantastic? I wasn't even tryin" look...

Red hair is totally on my fall list. Totally thinking of chopping and coloring my blonde. I mean, how many years can I rock the exact same hairstyle? Is 20 enough?

DiamondsandTulle said...

The red hair - so key! :) Love her look!

Oh effortless chic! Honestly, red hair IS the ultimate fashion accessory- with it you don't need anything else. Hoop earrings are superfluous! Jealous, jealous, jealous... On the bright side, I'm becoming a pro at rocking the mousy brown!

I'm ready to go red, just don't want to pay for the upkeep! But I'm obsessed with the red hair right now! Have also been looking for a chambray shirt, no luck yet! Great image!

It's funny - I seemed to live in this outfit, and other minute variations on a theme, for a large chunk of my teenage years. Granted, I didn't (and still don't!) have that gorgeous hair (or that photogenic savoir faire...), but I never remembered it looking so very cool!

Yumi @ Natsukashii said...

I owned this outfit in the late 80s sans the red hair.... I should have kept it!!!

shoegirl said...

I'd wanted to be a redhead my whole life (I'm naturally blond) & finally took the plunge earlier this year. I now color it myself & I think it turns out pretty well. If you want to - go for it!

This picture is lovely! I def need that shirt to pair with my black jeans this season. Having those awesome boots wouldn't hurt either...
