My dears, what are you up to this weekend? We're taking Toby on a walk today (to Sephora!) and ordering a big square pizza with mushrooms tonight. (Why are square pizzas always better?) Have a great one, and here are a few fun posts from around the web this week...
Porter has a new kissing blog!
New fashion idea: Wearing kid-sized sweaters.
The difference between good and bad dancers. (I'd be the terrible dancer.)
Loving this fall dress.
A bicycle thief.
Who wants some monkey cake?
19 fall dresses under $100.
How to decorate a room.
How to decorate your wrists.
My favorite baby links.
Plus, three Cup of Jo posts you may have missed:
* NYC Legos.
* Summery photos.
* Grey sweatshirts.

Jane Cumberbatch of PureStyle fame just commented in her most recent blog post that she wear's Barry M's Shocking Pink lipstick and never fails to get compliments on the pop of colour- and I thought of you! In many photos of herself she is indeed wearing that colour.
ReplyDeleteYou can find her blog here. I couldn't figure out how to link to her most recent post specifically.
That sounds like a fantastic weekend!
ReplyDeleteBecca
Oh! Jo. A friend linked this and I immediately thought, "This looks like something that A Cup of Jo would link." So, so precious: http://blog.mandylynne.com/?p=2544#

I *love* your blog and loved your birth story, as I'm expecting in December. Yours is the only birth story I've attempted to read. Anyway, I totally saw you and Toby and Bloomingdales on Saturday. Random. Hope you had a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteWent through porter's kissing blog this morning, page by page, quote by quote....was inspired to start painting....Love it.
ReplyDeleteRead your baby love story this afternoon.....laughed, cried and remembered that thrill of a new baby....what little miracles they are...
Inspired to have another...6 years later...it's funny how time flies, i don't remember much about last week but delivering a baby- i remember those details like it was yesterday....And your sweet story reminded me of how precious that experience is...My little sidekick is home sick today so even the bad days are good days.
XO to you and yours and thanks for sharing your story. xo, holly
Did you buy the pink lipstick?! I love mine by Nars. It's called Schiap after Elsa Schiaparelli! It was apparently her signature!
