Have a happy almost-fall weekend.
My lovelies, what are you up to this weekend? We're going to take a long walk around town with Toby in the sling, and I'll be finally finishing my birth story, which I can't wait to share on Monday! Hope you have a good one, and here are a few great posts from around the web this week...
This tiny apartment manages to feel big and bright.
Raindrops on the ocean.
Liking this whale book cover.
How cute is this star scarf? (Grown-ups can wear it, too!)
Wow, I can't believe these are paintings.
Hungry for peas and feta on toast.
Fall to-do list: Learn how to do Heidi braids.
Cheery wallpaper.
And Rue Magazine is here! Congrats to all the talented ladies who put it together.
Plus, five pretty girls:

Yes, almost fall like already. Can't wait to break out fall accessories like scarves, gloves and hats.
So excited to see your birth story/Toby's birthday story. :)
My husband's parents are visiting, and we're going to go on a zipline tour that's about 20 miles outside the city. Packing a picnic lunch to eat out at the lake while we're there.

AND
I just heard TORNADOS hit New York City. Did you see one? It's so bizarre!
Great links! Loved RUE Magazine!! :) Thanks so much for posting and sharing this Joanna!
It really feels like autumn here so I'll be wrapping up warm, going to a kid's party, entertaining my brother for the weekend and trying to squeeze in a visit to London Fashion Week. Phew!
Those mineral paintings are incredible. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Joanna!
This weekend is going to be a clean-the-tiny-apartment-weekend but I think it's going to be refreshing! I love very few things more than a clean house. And where I live, trees are already yellow, orange and brown (at least under my window) so I'm not complaining. Listening to Regina Spektor and ironing haha!
But I also have to do some studying so it's not going to be very relaxing weekend.
And I needed to say how much i adore Haidi braids! Althought one of my friends has Heidi braids all the time so it's already her trademark, I have to come up with something else!
Have beautiful weekend. Before cleaning the apartment I'm going to see some friends. So loving these simple days!
Love, Riikka
Joanna - what sort of sling do you have for Toby?
working (a bit) . dinner with friends . visiting w/ my sis . playing with olive (my dog baby) . and hopefully getting in some cuddle time w/ my handsome fiance : )
happy weekend!!!
thanks for posting this picture.
i opened this post early saturday morning -- before the hubby and baby awakening time -- and it calmed me.
i can't explain why, but it did.
have an awesome almost-fall weekend!
i'm glad i'm not the only one who appreciates the chill in the air.
