those lakes are breathtaking!! i hope i will get to see at least one in my lifetime. also, goodnight moon was my favorite book as a kid. perhaps it was because of the dusty pink rug and fireplace and mustard yellow chest of drawers. hmmm... maybe that is why i am so fond of these colors now.
Oh.MY.GOSH. The Abstract City illustration and depiction of the night flight had me in stitches. That was a GREAT way to beat the 4:48pm slump I am experiencing at my desk right now. Happy Weekend! xEmily

Cute! A first picnic is too darling. I bet you'll take lots of pictures! I love the ballerina project. This summer I taught a two week classical ballet intensive to 6 year olds and there was one who was stunningly beautiful. She also looked like someone I knew but could never figure out who. Until the last day I realized "Oh my goodness, she totally looks like A Cup of Jo!" She had this beautiful jaw line, big blue eyes, and gorgeous smile. It was a weird moment because I realized I don't really know you nor you know me, but i thought I'd tell you anyway.
The ballerinas are beautiful and make me want to get back into the habit of attending ballet classes (for adult beginners!). Thank you for the push to search for a new class. You've inspired me to post on this very topic:

SHUT up! That's so weird... I seriously just got the same identical wedding dress from a thrift store in Winnipeg. Well, it was a couple years ago actually and my friend and I split the $25 price tag with the understanding that whoever gets married first can wear it but, its the same damn dress. Exactly. I'm not kidding. Totally serious.
