Treehotel is a brand new design hotel in northern Sweden, less than an hour from the Arctic Circle. The Mirrorcube room, above, has a double bed and roof deck, and you access it by rope bridge. I can't believe how beautiful it is! Wouldn't you die to stay there?P.S. More travel fantasies.

Wow! That's incredible. Thanks, Joanna :)
ReplyDeleteOooh this is lovely. I would feel like the off note in that pristine setting though; that slick Scandinavian style always makes me feel like such a slob :)
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous - I'm totally obsessed with Scandinavian design so I could be very happy there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! Wow. I'm realizing everything cool exists in Sweden...
ReplyDeletePeople's creativity absolutely blows my mind. Incredible.
ReplyDeleteThere's a treehouse restaurant in New Zealand I saw photos of last year which started my treehouse love. It's absolutely gorgeous.
what about the birds that fly into the cube?! :(
ReplyDeleteangie, don't worry! they've thought of that: "To prevent birds colliding with the tree hotel, a infrared film, visible for birds only, will be laminated into the glass panes."
ReplyDeleteWow this looks fake!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful for sure.
Nikki
Wow cool! But what about toilets?!
ReplyDeleteno really keen on this project..to me it looks like a bad example of symbiosis human + nature..i was in love with Treehouse Point though!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying here! That is insanely gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethe mirrors are great but I'm afraid of heights so I would definitely die to stay there ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is amazing!! Can't believe it's actually a real place!
ReplyDeletelovely...
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting, maybe one day but I have a few other places I'm in love with a bit more

That doesn't even look real! So cool. A week here then a week in the ice hotel....
ReplyDeletehttp://ontheglam.com
gahhhh... amazing!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! Would love to stay in the trees like that.
ReplyDeleteIs beautiful, but where is the bathroom?
ReplyDeleteSO cool! That would be such a memorable experience :)
ReplyDeletewow, its such an interesting illusion. with the trees painted on it. incredible
ReplyDeleteyes please.
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning!
ReplyDeleteHow much do I want to vacation to a tree house? Something about this in the middle of autumn, being able to hide away in all of the Technicolor fauna seems dreamy :)
ReplyDeleteBecca
That is incredible! I'd love to go.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this place last night and did a post, too! isn't it amazing???
ReplyDeleteSo perfect...I so need to be up in the trees right now!
ReplyDeleteJulie xo
extremely wild, I love the imaginations of people. Anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteWow, this sounds like a really unique experience.
ReplyDeleteFun! I love the whimsical aspect of it. Who didn't dream of living in a tree house like Tarzan when they were younger? Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty sweet hotel. I can't beleive one tree supports the building! Amazing.
ReplyDeletei think this is beautiful but i won't lie - i'd be scared up there! i think i'd have to wear a harness....
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes! Absolutely dying to stay anywhere that immerses you in the trees but doesn't have you living and looking like 'tree people'! haha
ReplyDeletelove!

Breath taking! Scandinavian design remains as always, brilliant.
ReplyDeleteanonymous, there's a toilet and basin in the house, and another building has the showers. xo
ReplyDeleteOMG! the cabin looks unbelieveable.
ReplyDeleteso neat!! definitely would love to experience that
ReplyDeleteWhoa. I'd rather camp on the ground, old-school style, but these are amazing!
ReplyDeletei can't even wrap my head around this! :) it's so unique!
ReplyDeleteVery Cool! Leave it to the wonderful Sweden to have something so incredible.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Your blog is amazing!
I love this!
ReplyDeleteyes- i would die to stay there! :)
ReplyDeleteon a really embarrassing, dorky, twilight note- this totally looks like a place edward would take bella to hide out. :) haha!
this is so gnarly! i would go here in a second! so are all of these little tree rooms in the same forest then? probably huh. the swedish always have cool things. so rad. so rad. so rad.
ReplyDeleteGet out! I cannot believe this currently exists somewhere right now! I would love, love, love to stay here - it would be my perfect version of "camping" :)
ReplyDeleteawesome! i wonder how many birds fly into that thing...lol.
ReplyDeleteHow positively romantical!
ReplyDeleteWow the mirrored cube is just awesome! I love all things mirrored! I bet it's even furnished with mirrored furniture ! Can you imagine watching a glorious sunset in the cube with all the wonderful colours reflecting? mirrored furniture has come a long way. What a stunning and beautiful way to use decorative mirrors
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous.... but you wouldn't catch me anywhere near that hotel. Petrified of heights
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh - it's incredible!
ReplyDeleteThat immediately makes me think of this place in Big Sur, called TreeBones. They have yurts and cabins to rent, but they also have a human nest...
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I would love to go there!
ReplyDeleteWOW. This is now right up there with the Giraffe Manor for me!
ReplyDeletethat's beautiful. what amazing dreams a person would have there.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. I wonder how many birds have died by flying in to it though :-(
ReplyDeletethat is amazing. thank you. I think itd be a little scary, don't you?
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Interesting vacation. And the toilet?
ReplyDeleteIt looks cool, but after sleeping in an OPEN WINDOW(covered only be cloth) cabin for a few nights during March in Yosemite (it snowed like heck!) I'm done with drafty forest homes. :) It would be nice in summer though.
ReplyDeleteI would die if I stay there! With my vertigo, no way I sleep in an open treehouse! But it does look very modern, and I like modern, maybe I'll go one day...just to take a look...from underneeth... ;-)

ReplyDeleteThat is so unbelievable. That is just so stunning. I thought it is just an effect from computer but when I saw the last picture. I am surprised.
ReplyDeleteWow pretty incredible for me that i have listed first time such a hotel on the tree really.
ReplyDeleteBut for human nothing is impossible for it.

I saw this in some Sweden blogs last year. Man, I'm in love with the whole concept. How I wish there's Treehotel near the the Lincoln area so I don't have to fly that far. I wonder what type of roofing they installed. Some dude commented on the blog that the interior isn't good, but hey, who needs extreme interior when you're surrounded by the beautiful nature? I think it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteNice post, thanks for sharing this wonderful and usefull information with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing one......:)
ReplyDeleteAhh i love this. Its the most beautiful treehouse. I just visited a treehouse in the Champagne region of France yesterday. Ahh nothing better than drunken champagne on swings in the region its made while 30 feet up above the ground!!

I didn't make it this far north, but I did get back from a trip to Sweden, which blew my mind. (This is on my list for next time!) It's such a gorgeous country. You can see my Sweden posts on my blog!
