Birth story

My dears, I promise our birth story is coming soon. I have been writing a bit each day, but with a teeny baby, everything takes way longer than expected! Here's a photo from right after Toby was born, which still makes me feel little weepy.

Update: Here's the birth story. xo

What a lovely photo...you will NEVER forget that moment and every time you see that photo you will be in the moment, no matter how many children you have. God has truly blessed us women with the gift of child bearing!

I look forward to reading your story as each birth is a beautiful unique story.

Cheers!

Beautiful picture! Congratulations to the three of you. It's amazing how time is never quite the same after having a baby. My daughter is almost three and while I can still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday, it also seems like a lifetime ago because they grow and change so quickly. Enjoy your little guy.

Everything about this photo is precious. My dad died 7 years ago and I was having a rough say today because it was his birthday! But that photo put a smole on my face. :)

with a child of ANY age, things always take longer than expected—and anyone with children has either a good bit of patience, or has already gone to the looney bin.
can't wait to read the story. :)

And Welcome to the world to little Toby! Gorgeous!

The moment right after the birth when you lock eyes with your new baby is the most magic in life. I still cry at the memory of both my children's births.

Enjoy this precious time.

So sweet! I'm bad about living in the moment that it takes me awhile to reflect on a moment and really digest it. Something so wonderful and big in your life will most likely take you awhile to reflect and put into words. Take your time!

I have a photo of the three of us just after Lucia was born framed in her nursery...I see it every day and I just smile at it. I have her in my arms just two months later and it seems like yesterday. I wonder if it will always feel like that? I just love her so much. wasn't that first hug just the most remarkable moment ever?
