Guest Post: Picnic Ideas

picnic
I love Joanna's idea of having a picnic club. What a blast that would be throughout the warming spring and summer months! I envision delicious food picked up a a local deli or nearby farmer's market and lots of outdoor games like bocce ball and croquet and just having fun hanging out with a group of friends. Here are a few things to bring outside. Happy picnicking, everyone!

Sweet. A very chique picnic look.
I totally have this look in mind when I picnic with the family, but in reality - when I picnic, it looks nothing like that.
It's more of a mish mash of plates and napkins, the generic kind of foods and drinks, kids who spill, ants, mosquitoes, etc...

But, I'll keep dreaming.

I usually will have at least one picnic in the spring before the summer heats the earth and makes eating outdoors too unbearable so I absolutely LOVE this post! I think next year I will have to find a gingham dress to wear because THAT is one cute outfit.

Everything you posted makes for one chic picnic. :)

Interesting ideas! The traditional basket is always a must have in most picnics. I also liked the ideas about barbecue and blankets. Those are the same things that my wife prepares whenever we go to (Glendale) parks and recreation centers.

I know she would be thrilled to read your posts about picnic. She loves preparing such activities. Thanks for posting!
