My sweet readers, what are you up to this weekend? The sun is finally shining in New York, and I'd like to go on a little bike ride uptown to try these cookies, which my friend swears by. Hope you have a relaxing weekend, and here are a few great posts from around the web...

A bike ride sounds wonderful, but I have a flat :) I'm sewing for an upcoming craft show I'm in, taking a little road trip and day hike with my husband and dog, and spending time with my baby nephew. Happy Easter!

I hope you have a relaxing weekend as well! OMG, those cookies look to die for...I might have to bike from Minnesota to get some (or order online! LOL).
We have lost the sun here in Minnesota but we still plan to have a nice weekend with coloring of Easter eggs and visiting with my husband's parents as we haven't seen them since December (they fly away to Arizona during the winter and don't return until Spring!)...so it shall be a nice time.

All those tulips! In Victoria BC there are fields and fields of tulips this time of year, just off the main highway. I love driving by on the way to visit my parents. Happy Easter, hope you get a whole basket full of chocolate treats!

Those cookies look soooo good. Next time I'm in NYC I am going to make it a point to buy some. ;-) This morning some of my best friends from high school are coming over for brunch, and tomorrow I'm doing Easter at my parents' house. My husband is currently on a road trip so it's just me and the pets for the next week and a half. :-P

I went to buy my wedding dress this weekend.....I didn't plan to but ended up buying an amazing fitted and fishtailed dress with a sash that ties in the back in a beautiful bustle type bow, from Coast. We also got a matching bridesmaid dress for my sister, a just above the knee a line but in same colours. And thats the bit about not meaning to - my dress is thyme green with the sash in black.....its amazing, I fell in love with it but its not traditional (although neither is the wedding really)....and now I'm wondering what will people think of me not wearing white???? I just keep thinking, but I love it, it flatters my figure amazingly and I felt totally comfortable and confident in it....and my sister approved!!! help....any thoughts would be very very welcomed x x
