Daydreaming

At the start of this beautiful weekend, I hurt my foot, and the doctor ordered me to sit inside with my leg up for both days. It was such a bummer! On the bright side, I finally had time to read the entire Domino book, and a couple friends came over on Saturday night to play games. (I had to wear a giant orthopedic sandal. Nothing cooler than a limping pregnant woman, let me tell you.) Anyway, hope you all had great weekends, and, to kick off a new week, here are a few images I thought you might like...
Lovely San Francisco.
Lavender lemonade.
Julia Rothman's amazing New York subway poster.
This gorgeous bedroom is actually in an English hotel. I adore the black-and-white photograph in a white frame. It makes me want to shop for a fine-art photo (or frame pages of a book).

P.S. Past inspiration photos.

You too, huh?! Do you remember me breaking my foot at about 7 and a half months pregnant? It sucks, but then again, at least you won't have an injured foot while trying to take care of a bebe! (That's what I told myself to get through it at least.)

Feel better:( Eat ice cream! xo

I love that picture of San Fran - do you think it's a model? It looks like a miniature ( i love miniatures).

And that city poster reminds me of Richard Scarry's old children's books.

These are lovely, thankyou!

Too bad about your foot, but sounds you had a nice weekend anyway.
Love the pic of Jackie O., such a classy lady at all times.

amy said...

I'm so glad to read that picture is indeed Jackie O. I thought so, but search engines failed me.
Thanks for the footnotes here.

amy said...

More footnotes to add:
Photo was taken by Mark Shaw at Hyannis Port in 1959.

A couple of other photos from the same shoot:

The photo you picked of her swinging Caroline in the surf is maybe one of the most brilliant photos I've ever seen. (Normally I'm a Henri Cartier-Bresson girl, but this is just...well... perfection.)

Oh, I sympathize. Omegle My husband and I were working for the same company Omegle Sohbet when I was pregnant, and I can't count how many times I hauled him out of his office out to the parking Omegle Chat lot so I could have a meltdown. (because of course I couldn't do it alone, I had to have a witness and then a hug after...)
I'd much rather have Omegle that than a huge diamond! So much classier. Graham Cluley, omegle a researcher at security firm Sophos, Görüntülü Chat told BBC News that Twitter needs "much tighter control" over what users can put in a tweet to prevent similar problems in the future.
