Thank you!

Thank you so much to all the lovely readers who came to our stoop sale. It was SO much fun to meet you. Alex and I were saying that everyone was incredibly pretty (and there were so many cute jackets and red lipsticks:) Everything sold really quickly, and we closed down by 1:30. (Huge apologies to those who came afterwards!) Then we took a long bike ride up to the lighthouse and had a delicious dinner at Hundred Acres. A wonderful New York day -- I just wish we hadn't forgotten our camera! Thank you again, my darlings! xoxo

  36. I'm so glad that it was a huge success! I love this park and have to visit it in person for once! I've seen so many photographs of it. Good for you and taking that belly for a spin. I'm sure the kidlet loves it! Mine goes bananas whenever I hold still! she likes activity. If you want to see some great photos of this place you should look at Joel Meyerowitz's work. He recently completed a book of images of all of NYC's parks...well, not all of them but a lot of them, including this one. I was invited to a show of the work at the Museum of the City of NY and he spoke. It was incrdible to hear about how the project was born. The parks hadn't been photographed professionally since the 1930s! amazing. he had access that we would only dream of. sigh...
