Simple pleasures

This week has been really busy (as all weeks-after-vacations are), so let's talk about simple pleasures. What are a few of your favorite things? Mine are avocado toast, linen sheets, Alex Baldwin on 30 Rock, and reading magazines in bed. I would love to hear yours. xoxo

P.S. Awesome that this photo is named "hammock bum."

  1. Chocolate, books, sitting in my sanctuary (my room), going for walks alone, laying in bed listening to music and travelling to 6 trillion places in my mind, and being naked by myself.

I like that term... simple pleasures.

  19. Your timing couldn't be better. Life has not been going my way lately, and I've been having trouble finding pleasure in anything. But now that I've been prompted to stop and reflect, I would have to say...scoring a deal at an antiques market, a pastry and a latte on a Sunday morning, and the way my bedroom smells after the windows have been open all day.

What beautiful timing your post has for me. My due date was this week, but we lost the baby many months ago. Today I'll enjoy all the things I do have in my life that I cherish... Here are my special treats: my morning coffee, trying on/mixing outfits and accessories from my closet, flipping through home decor magazines from the public library (read: FREE!) on the elliptical trainer, silly text messages with my sister, my Aaron who always wants to hold me hand.

Happy Friday! I hope you have a relaxing weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Where do you get your sheets? Actually, where did you get your bedding and bed and heaboard in general? For some reason, that is one home decor niche I am not great with... I've been looking!
