Have a magical weekend.

My darlings, what are you doing this weekend? Alex and I are having a Greek dinner tonight (with extra grape leaves) and going to a party tomorrow. I'm excited to squeeze into a purple Gap dress that wraps around my giant belly. Hope you have a wonderful couple days, and here are a few great posts from around the web...

Teeny apartment? Make a Murphy nightstand!

I left my heart in ____.

A bookish laptop cover (via Oh Joy)

Nautical finds.

A dreamy wedding in Vancouver.

Well, doesn't that look fun?

Chefs pencil set.

The insta-pocket is hilarious.

Living in the Coal Miner's Daughter. Such a great movie.

Keith Davis Young makes pretty prints.

Obsolete jobs from yesteryear.

Emerson has the raddest (and most fully stocked!) kitchen.

Five spring outfits.

Engagement photos on a ferry. (I love the windy shots.)

Dress like Bonnie and Clyde.

My nursery picks on etsy. (So many cute things over there, it was impossible to choose!)

Plus, five Cup of Jo posts you may have missed:
* Gorgeous wedding veil.
* The ultimate door chain.
* Lemonade stand cuties.
* Awkward family photos.
* Lipstick on your wine glass.

Will we get to see pictures of you in said dress? I bet you're a hot mama!
Greek food sounds so good. The best restaurant I ever went to was tht Greek Sombrero in San Diego. A Greek man and a Mexican woman fell in love and opened a restaurant. The results were so good.

I squealed when I saw this photo...I adore The Red Balloon! Thankfully my mom saved my childhood books, so now I read it to Micah.

Happy weekend & enjoy the grape leaves!

I love the purple dress, and I'm sure you look beautiful in it! Great links as usual, but can I just tell you how excited I was to see the Coal Miner's Daughter feature on Design Sponge. Wow. Somehow I missed that one, and it's just fantastic. Thanks and have a fantastic weekend!

Love the NPR link to the jobs of yesteryear.

I was just considering writing a story about someone who has a job or talent that's a lost art-- like an acrobat with the circus.

Have a great weekend - I'd love to see a picture of you in the dress! The odd things you end up in during late pregnancy that you'd never wear can look surprisingly lovely, especially if you're as lovely and slim as you are!

Watch out for those baby slings!
The engagement photo shoot is lovely but I have to say...the ultra-narcissism re: engagements & weddings is beyond too-much nowadays. Doesn't anyone want to be private? A little? C'mon.

(And I'll bet you look great in the dress.)

Hey!

I started reading your blog last year - I think it was when you had just posted your lovely wedding photos. For some reason I hadn't been on for a while but yesterday I was on a long train ride, saw Cup of Jo in my bookmarks and clicked. I guess it must have been a longer time than I thought cause now you're expecting a baby! Congratulations! Your posts are so great and indulge my baby brooding :)
I hope you enjoyed your Greek dinner. I live in Scotland and my trip yesterday was to Edinburgh so I spent the day with friends going to botanic gardens and antique shops, eating lovely food and drinking lots of red wine.

Oh, and I was looking at your past articles and came across 'Heaven, with Hangers' - ace! I'm going to spend the rest of the morning looking up beautiful wardrobes :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.... I ran the 10K yesterday, so today is definitely a rest day... maybe a little painting too :)

I'm fairly new to your blog but just caught up on the "all about babies." Congrats! I bet the purple Gap dress looked awesome- we just had a baby girl and at month 5 of the pregnancy people were asking if I was having triplets- which was really annoying. Hope the greek food was tasty! We are off to celebrate Greek Easter with my husband's family this weekend and I'm in charge of the spanokopita!
