  47. lovely! maybe i'll try this today. this whole ponytail thing is getting old (my poor hubs).

that reminds me of a funny 'thank you note' bit on jimmy fallon: "thank you ponytails for making girls' heads look like horses butts."

so funny and kind of an a-ha moment, as, hello, that's where "ponytail" comes from, but in 31 years, i never really thought of it that way.

  57. Funny, I loved the sidebraid a few years ago and with my curly hair it worked well--a nice thick loose braid---but, I a few weeks ago I had it straightened with a Brazilian Kertatin treatment and now it's so straight and smooth that the braid simply will not hold and looks really messy as opposed to "staged" messy. It figures that for once in my whole life I'd get in on a hair trend only to miss out on one even more current and a lot less expensive! ;)

    ReplyDelete

  65. I do love the look of the side braids on these models. And I do have very long hair that allows me to wear styles like these.

But I am also very neurotic, and when I put the side braid in, I start to feel like my head is heavily weighted to one side. It drives me CRAZY! I inevitably have to take it out and put it in a perfectly centered ponytail instead...

    ReplyDelete
  66. mmm, agreed. If only I had long hair!

    ReplyDelete
