One belly, four ways

My sweets, hope you all had wonderful long weekends! I flew down to Florida on Sunday to visit my mom and her husband, and we've been having a great time. It's colder than usual (we wore fleeces to the pool!), so we've been taking long walks and talking about babies. Last night, she and her husband made Spanish tapas for dinner, including Spanish tortilla, Manchego cheese, and garlic-stuffed olives in a beautiful long olive tray. Afterward, we ate berries and brownies and watched The Bachelor, which my mom got really into. (By the way, what was up with that crazy preview for the finale?) Moms are the best! xoxo

  25. Cuuute belly! I don't know what's up with the preview for the finale, but my money's on Tenley. I was on Team Ali until she left. I was actually surprised Jake shot her down when she asked to return, especially when their "relationship" was further developed than his and Gia's, so it seemed. Uhh, I cannot believe I'm so into this show. It's kinda sad!

    I have a group of 5 friends (and our daughters when they are on college break) that meet every Monday night to eat red velvet cake or other delights and watch the Bachelor together. We place bets at beginning and have the BEST time , Best of luck with baby!

    I know! This is the first time I've ever watched The Bachelor and I'm so on edge! The way they edited the next scenes, the way both girls are crying it looks like he didn't pick EITHER of them! Yikes! Very excited to see his family come into the mix though, should get interesting!

  60. NOTHING cuter than a baby bump! You look stunning and happy. And tapas remind me of Hubby and I and our last getaway before I got pregnant. We went to Spain. I brought back a cookbook. Seriously...is there any better way to eat than little plates of yummy goodness?

  87. I totally agree with U. Moms are terrific! (I'm actuallly spending my last weeks before meeting my baby at my parents' home, waiting for my Pirate to sail back from work, & I really enjoy time chatting, sewing & knitting with my Mum). It's a very special moment to share with her.

  99. i am 21 weeks right now with a boy - and i have to ask you - how are you wearing jeans?! you look adorable. i just had some type of major growth spurt and i'm afraid i will have to embrace leggings daily for the rest of the winter!! (i refuse to buy maternity...)

(you wear them with your regular jeans, and they cover up the bottom of your tummy.) maki, we're in naples. and i'll try to share some of my mom's recipes, i think she gets most from cookbooks! xoxo
