Tea submarine

Now that I'm not drinking wine, I've returned to my British roots and am drinking tea. Every evening, Alex and I make a steaming pot of cinnamon-y Bengal Spice. So I laughed when I saw this funny submarine tea infuser. Genius!

What kind of tea do you like?

  19. I cannot function without Earl Grey (the tea, not the person). Something about seeing the big tin of it every morning growing up. Did not grow up with coffee (my father drank it & claimed that my mother & her mother were incapable of making a decent cup so he had it out). This was weird here in America amongst my friends back then. I love both but must have tea around to feel that things are OK. I grew up with "put the kettle on" as a reply to any & all bumps, irritations, emergencies (real or imagined).

    Have a good weekend, maman.

PS: for colds, I use something I call Gypsy Moth Tea to irritate friends who yell, No it's called...whatever. It's Traditional Medicinals & isn't it amazing what will irritate people?:)

That is the cutest infuser I have ever seen! I must hunt one down at some point.

My absolute favorite tea is a plain old peppermint. It revives when you need energy, and relaxes at the end of the day. Or so it works for me at least. A nice rooibos (any kind will do!) is always fantastic. My latest phase though? Find a blend with rose in it. There's just something about it!

i am breastfeeding a sweet nine-week old boy named muller and it's not the easiest thing for me, so i drink about five cups of traditional medicinal's mother's milk tea. it has become an addiction (although i still indulge in a latte every once in a while, too!)
