New wedding dresses

  15. I love the dresses. Makes me want to get married again (except minus the stress of planning and the whole paying for it part). On a tangent... is it just me, or does the model look a bit spooked/scared/uncomfortable in some of the photos? (She is pretty, no doubt about it.)

    The dresses are beautiful, but those models sure have the 'deer in headlights' look down pat! They should be smiling and bubbly and bright - it's their wedding day for pete's sake!

  29. I adore simple wedding gowns. I imagine there'd be something quite nice about being able to move on your wedding day and not have to ask people to accompany you to the bathroom to hold your dress. Definitely going to be the way I go someday.

  35. Elizabeth Dye has the most beautiful dresses. I hope to visit the English Dept the next time we're in Portland.. I'd love to snatch up one of her pieces for an upcoming vow renewal for me and the hubbs. :) We're still newlyweds (make a year in March), but I'd love to own one of her pieces.

  41. b.a. - i agree! why do you only get to wear your wedding dress once and not buy another one ever again?? there should be a new tradition that for every 5 years you are married you get to wear a wedding dress :)
