one finely chopped onion, sweat in olive oil until translucent, add two cans of chopped organic tomatoes and a Kallo mushroom stock cube. add maybe half a can of water. simmer for 10 or 15 minutes. blitz. serve. eat.

i had three bowlfuls for lunch.

p.s sometimes i add a few home-dried needles of rosemary. but really it doesn't need anything. it's totally delicious.

  104. I love this! Recently, when I was having an exceptionally horrible day, my Sweetheart flew home and made me grilled cheese and tomato soup. Mind you, it wasn't any ordinary grilled cheese and tomato soup. The tomatoes were smoked and he added roasted garlic. The grilled cheese was gruyer, mixed w/ some cheddar from Wisconsin. and this yummy farmer's bread. I didn't dare remind him I don't eat dairy now...I popped a lactaid, looked north, towards the sweet dairy cows, and said I was sorry, and ate every delicious bite. And then I laid very still as he sweetly spooned me, and snored so loud in my left ear I could barely hear the next day. Surely no one loves him as much as me!

    ReplyDelete
