Have a lovely fall weekend.

My darlings, what are your plans for this weekend? Alex and I are heading up to the Blue Hill Stone Barns Harvest Festival tomorrow with friends. Looking forward to hayrides and pie bake-offs! (Fingers crossed that it doesn't rain buckets.) Also, I've had a great time reading all your comments this week; I want to say a special thank-you to all of you for being so wonderful! Have a lovely weekend, and, meanwhile, here are a few good posts from around the web...

One thousand portraits in England.

Feel yourself up.

Watch for falling books!

This office makeover cost zero dollars (but looks like a million bucks).

What a pretty autumnal brooch, and amethyst necklaces.

Jenny's blog tugs at my heart strings: nostalgia, early mornings and baby's first Polaroid.

A grocery receipt that makes you think.

Amazing 1970's wallpaper.

A model before and after. And another.

Parisian street chic (nope, I'll never get tired of French style.)

A Where the Wild Things Are costume for kids. And, more bizarrely, for grown-ups.

Liking how this photo is called "concentration."

50 cool billboards. (Yes, billboards.)

As the weather gets chiller, let's daydream about springtime in Provence.

Plus, five Cup of Jo posts you may have missed:

* Alice in Wonderland meets Vogue
* Photo booth safari
* Rosemary's Baby
* Pants
* Bow ties for ladies

  3. The billboards were great. All these links will keep me busy (or distracted from doing things I need to be doing) but either way they are great.

    I will be doing homework, grad school applications (insert cry), cleaning, and going to dinner with friends.

  15. Ahh I was going to work this weekend (first shift acting in the haloween attractions park!) but I had to cancel due to getting-there issues. I have to wait another week to really start celebrating harvest season!
    But on the other hand, I'm getting rid of my glasses to replace them with contact lenses. And then, I'm shooting a 30-second film with a few friends !

    I hope the rain goes straight here
    so you can avoid it ~
