Nutella croissants

Oh my goodness, how delicious do Tanya's Nutella croissants look? I think my head just exploded.

  20. Ceci Cela on Spring between Lafayette and Mulberry makes the best croissants (they're one of the major distributors for coffeeshops around the city). They have a chocolate almond croissant that is so good I could eat it every morning (of course that would make me 400 lbs, so I just have one every-so-often).

  21. Yummers! I'm an addict for Nutella thanks to my husband. He lived in Canada for 2 years and Nutella is practically it's own food group over there!

  23. Such a good idea! As a kid I used to do a version of this with Hershey's Kisses, but Nutella sounds so much better.

  27. Oh my!!! I just ate lunch, but now I'm hungry again! I'm just getting into Nutella and last week had an ice cream sandwich made out of anise pizzelles, schmeared with Nutella, and strawberry gelato. It was TOO DIE FOR!!!

  43. we were served croissants for our breakfast in Italy (on our honeymoon in June) every single day (x 11!) and every single day I plopped a dollop of nutella on mine! It's one of my favorite treats!

  54. um i think nutella is the best thing ever. if it was socially acceptable i would put it on everything. i always have a jar of it at my desk. oh and now that they have nutella commercials on, my heart skips a beat! looooove, thanks for this great idea! feed the obsession...

  66. I dream about these regularly ! I have so many fond memories of backpacking through Europe (way back), it didn't matter what country we were in.. There was always a Nutella croissant to be found!

  78. We make them at my work also :) We fill them after they're baked though, so you can have them filled-fresh all throughout the day :D

  80. I would SO eat these. Have you tried the Trader Joe's chocolate croissants? You let them defrost over night and bake in the morning for 20 minutes or so. So good and easy too!

  88. I worked at a preschool and there was a little girl there that would only eat her sandwich if it was nutella and for the longest time I thought it was chocolate! This looks like a recipe even I can conquer!

  90. I have the ingredients and intend to do this one day this week. I think for some of them I may add a little lingonberry jam (from IKEA) or homemade fig preserves for some fruity contrast! Thanks for the post. I posted this link on my Facebook page and two friends made them this weekend! :-)
