Pixie bride
Our wedding festivities start in ten days (!), so I've been daydreaming about weddings all day every day. This Australian wedding is especially adorable. The bride, Cassie, looks like a little pixie in her short dress by Carla Zampatti. And their fairy-light chandelier was from Ikea!

Very simple and elegant. I'm a bride from 1990, if I had to do it over, this is what I would do. I'll keep my honey..he's fantastic! Coming up on 19 years for us. Wishing you all the best on your upcoming nuptuals. A tip from the 1990 bride. Stay away from big bows and heavily beaded, sequined bridal veils. Yes...I have the pictures to prove it!!!

I love this! I'm a wedding photographer and I absolutely LOVE IT when I see people promoting truly great wedding photography! The more educated brides the better! And the more brides that wear Louboutins too. Can't get enough Louboutins... But I digress... :)

Joanna, I'm SURE you've gotten more than enough advice, but I just have to pass this on! Take a moment with your new husband to simply be an observer. Walk away (even if only for a brief second) to look back on all your friends and family dancing, laughing and toasting in celebration of you and your love! It's truly one of the only times everyone you care about will come together in such a way and it's a glimpse the two of you will never forget. I recently got married and it was the BEST advice I received!
Standing alone in the desert with the smell of orange blossoms in the air, I will never forget when my husband proclaimed it, "a night full of magic." And it was.

Thank you for sharing this photo story! I get married a month today, in an 18th century school house with plain wood everywhere, huge windows and lots of empty space.
I thought my venue would be blah but seeing these photos has reminded me that less is more!
