The September Issue


I can't wait to see The September Issue, the documentary about Vogue editor Anna Wintour. She's known for being tough as nails and cold as ice. It will be fascinating to learn more about her daily life.

    For both being in the magazine world, you seem like the antithesis of Wintour (a refreshing antithesis, I may add!)! You will have to divulge how similar your lives are once you've seen it.

  34. yeah, i've only watched the trailer about 50 times! i can't WAIT to see it!

    and lindsay, i also sometimes get funny verification words...or i like to take the made-up words and make up definitions for them. like, i see that my word for this comment is going to be "vessess."

    I think it's funny how she happened to say, "Fashion is not about looking back, it's about looking forward."
    And maybe I mistook what she said, but I'd disagree with that statement. I think that looking back is what makes good fashion.
    We need to look back at the classics to be able to know how to make something new and fresh. Without the classics, who's to say that what we think is new or fresh, could actually be really old and considered bad style?

  57. Oh my goodness! I want to see this sooooooooo much, as it was playing here at the international film festival. BUT they put a story about it on the cover of the Washington Post style section, and it sold out in hours. I can't wait to see it!
