The Sartorialist Guide

I live in the West Village, so now and again, I'll pass fashion photographer The Sartorialist on the tree-lined streets. In my jeans and T-shirts, I've never been snapped, but luckily Refinery 29 just wrote a cheeky guide about how to get photographed by him. Oh my goodness, I laughed out loud.

Read it here...

  24. Ahh yes, I have a link to this fellow in the worth visiting section of my side bar. I though the article was hilarious! I often think of these pics as I'm getting ready for work in the mornings, but all the layering won't work in the Texas heat. But, I do love all the scarves and boots!

  33. HA!! I love it! When hubby and I took our trip to NY a couple months ago, as I was packing, I was thinking in the back of my mind "Is this something that could get me on The Sartorialist"... I was packing terribly uncomfortable, high fashion clothes. Then I stopped and realized I wanted to be comfortable and have fun, not try to be photographed, so I pulled all those clothes out of my suitcase and threw in jeans, sweatshirts, and tanks. I'm glad I made the switch and glad that I stopped being so silly. : )
