  5. Astonishing! The landscape is eerie, but the photo with the seated woman is even more so. But eerie in the best way ... the way thought-provoking art ought to be.

    This is a great concept to do with locations that have a special meaning or family history behind them. I'm totally going to try this.

  21. We actually did this same thing - Sean's parents, at our age, took their photos in San Francisco at Coit Tower. We went back to the same exact spots and took our photo...then made them a framed "us and them" picture! It was a huge hit!

  22. I love this project. It would be interesting to do this as a personal project, to go back and visit places in family photos and see how they have changed.

  23. Love it - I once saw a similar project where the old photo showed a completely different landscape from the present-day one...I think it may have been a shelf of Antarctica? In any case, I'll send it your way if I find it :)
