Feeling Smitten...

My dears, here's a weekly round-up of Smitten, my Glamour Magazine relationships blog...

At your wedding, would you wear your hair up or down? I LOVE this bride's hair...

Do you feel weird sleeping in a bed with a female friend?

On the Bachelorette, which guy should Jillian choose?

The most insane bridezilla ever!

Poll: Have you ever faked an orgasm?

Dating do or don't: Bangs.

Wedding do or don't: Inviting kids to the wedding.

"My most awkward sexual experience...at an airport."

Have you ever been on a really bad first date?

A genius tip for a long-distance relationship.

What was your bedtime when you were growing up? (Mine was insane.)

Which of these three summer dresses would you wear on a date?

Which terms of endearment do you use with your man? Honey? Sweetie? Dude?

What's your middle name?

A sexy sarong.

What's one thing that makes you happy? Dogs? Sandwiches? Dancing?

As always, find much more on Smitten. Thank you! xo

darling questions!! : )

p.s. my sisters have a book like "post secret" but its just mommy confessions, & one of the entries said that she didn't teach her kids how to tell time on purpose because she wanted to be able to tell them it was time for bed earlier than 8!
haha!

p.s. i think you would look dashing with bangs!

We call each other honey, my middle name is Margaret, dogs make me very very happy, and I wore my hair half up/half down--I think you should wear your hair in whichever way is the most YOU, because you want your photos to reflect the real you.

When I go back to California to visit my close girlfriends, we giggle like school girls and share a big bed, talking all into the night. I love it!

And Long Distance Relationships are sooo hard, but sooo good to help with communication. Brian and I lived apart for 2 years before we got married - him in Houston, me in Los Angeles. The way we made it was talking on the phone constantly and having cooking and movie dates. For the cooking dates, we would go grocery shopping on the phone together, pick out the same ingredients, and then come home and cook the meal together. Then we'd snap a shot on our cell and see who's looked the best. And then after that we'd watch a dvd on the phone together and sync it so it was playing at the same time.

Re the bangs: I've always been a "bangs girl" but my bf didn't really favor them, so I figured that since he has to look at me all the time (and I want him to like what he sees) I would keep my bangs long.

Then, on a plane, I saw Zooey D. in "Yes Man" and made an appointment the next day. I heart my bangs and my bf hearts my bangs. He even trims them for me!! And, as a bonus, my hair isn't in my face all the time.

I am definitely pro bangs!

The "kids or no kids at a wedding post" is my favorite this week. I'm very much for having a "grown-ups" only wedding - we don't have a lot of friends with kids, but I know this is going to be an issue with my future sister-in-law :(

Love this post, as usual!

Personally, I believe that bangs are the cutest thing on the planet (and, of course, Zooey Deschanel's are the bang epitome of perfection). I have had them for years, and love them more with each passing day.

Just an FYI...if you elect to have them, learn how to trim them yourself - mine grow like weeds! :)

My middle name is Francesca. I always liked it better than Joanna (no offense, Joanna!).

Your story about Alex's name made me laugh because it's the same situation with my boyfriend. His first name is Paul in due respect to his father's side who wanted a traditional biblical name for him. But my boyfriend's mother was like "Fine, but I'm giving him Tim as a middle name and will call him Timmy". Tim is the man I fell in love with. I don't know who Paul is!

Your mama is a woman after my own heart - my kids went to bed at 6:30 until this past fall when I just couldn't pull it off because of sports practices. Now it's 7:00pm.

I wore my hair with flowers:

My Mom was hard core about bedtime. Sometimes it was still light out. The nerve!

Yes I do love her hair! I'm such an aficionada of Victorian design, and fashion!
