A little love note.

Yesterday was exactly two months until our wedding (August 29th). I can't believe that in eight short weeks, Alex will be my husband. When I got home from my week-long trip yesterday afternoon, Alex had left me a bunch of yellow flowers, along with cute notes on the bed, coffee table and hung from deer antlers. It made me swoon.

Audrey Hepburn once said, "If I get married, I want to be very married."

Alex, I can't wait to very-marry you.

    I love your blog here as well as the one on Glamour and I read them both religiously :)

    when my husband and I first started dating, he noticed I had a strange almost-obsession with post its. I would leave him reminders before leaving the apartment, or if I had nothing to remind him about, I would just scribble I love you, and he woke up and left after I did so he would find them then (we moved in together after only 3 months. I know, yikes.) One day I came home and he had written I love you on hundreds of post its and covered the room in them. Pointing out my neurosis? Maybe. But still cute. I took a picture of the room covered in them, and kept every single post it in a box. :) lockedstockedandtwolouboutins.blogspot.com

  60. I have to give mad respect to Alex. Because honestly, the man is under A LOT of pressure! lol. Meaning that, you are this person who has this seamingly endless reservoir of creativity and ideas to draw from. So I know as a guy, Alex is sweating all the time trying to come up with something original. lol. But I know he's happy to do it. Congrats to both of you.

  89. Sweet sweet! When my husband and I were dating he used to map out the drive ahead of time and leave little treasures hidden along side the road. So when we left the house he would suddenly pull over and jump out out of the car and hidden on a post, fence whatever, would be some candy, flowers etc. He was and is dreamy. We are married nearly ten years -and have 4 kids and have a date night EVERY Sat nite, it is the reason for our happiness. Always remember to date.
