Home Inspiration: Blonde Redhead

Blonde Redhead's apartment appeared in Domino ages ago, but I keep coming back to the photos. Isn't the blue toile wallpaper gorgeous? I love how they make it feel modern and casual by randomly tacking up favorite photos.

    LOVE this band!! My fiance saw them in concert a few years ago and then passed along his awe for them (and their cd) for me to enjoy :D

  15. This is one of my favorite pieces in domino. Life changing kind of. I also love the shot of the fireplace they had that was just for decoration pushed against a plain wall. Thanks for this flashback to greatness. missing domino like crazy!!!

  16. Oooh yes, I remember this one. I do love that wallpaper - and if I remember correctly, they have a Tord Boontje lamp in their kitchen/dining area, which I absolutely love!

  21. It's had to balance modern and comfortable. So many modern rooms only look good in pictures. A room is only livable if it accomodates real life. This one does. But I won't show it to my husband since he will undoubtedly point out the clothes draped on the chair and suggest that he's only embracing a celebrated design aesthetic.
