I love the dress!!! It's awesome that you found it already! I've been married for 11 years- and I still beat myself up about settling on one that wasn't THE one. but I have to say- I would take a check for 30k any day over my dream dress.
I don't know if I would be able to go without dating.. Well, I'm already married, so it wouldn't make any difference. lol.. Loving the J.CREW dresses. And I'm guilty as charged on letting the kids sleep in the same bed.

can I tell you how much I love your dress too? *sigh* the thing besides beautiful, is that it looks so comfortable. Don't laugh - after standing on your feet and kissing people all day, you will appreciate that fact.

i actually took two years off from dating. i was coming out of bad relationship after bad relationship and realized i lost bits of myself along the way. the best part was i learned to love myself and who i was made to be. thank God, literally. oh, and i would love to have worn either of those j.crew dresses.
Love the bottom dress, the top one not so much. And yes, I've taken a year off dating and ended up getting so frustrated physically that I married the next guy I felt an attraction to. It ended up not being such a bad thing! We've been married 15 years this month. (I had my dress made by the costume designer of the theater in our city. Wonderful design at half the price.)

Can answer two questions: Love the simplicity and elegance of the J. Crew dress. It would be fabulous on you. You do have a very French look! All my sons (four and grown up now) would end up (at different times during the night) in our bed. Life is way too short for too many rules!
Joanna, I'm a lame winter girlfriend too...when it gets cold I never want go out anywhere..never want to shave my legs or umm other areas. and it's always freezing so I tend to layer and bundle up like a homeless person...not very sexy.
