Will Bill Murray come to your next party?

Apparently, Bill Murray has been popping up unannounced at Brooklyn house parties and partying with twentysomething hipsters. How hilarious and bizarre! (Also, a little sad--the girls say he seems lonely.) Wouldn't you just die if he walked into your party? Read the story here.

    Although he looks kind of bummed in the photo.. I wonder why he's lonely. I hear often times all those comedians{actors} are quiet once out of the camera...

  26. when i was in college, woody harrelson would show up to our parties or frequent the bars that were only full of college kids. and surprisingly, he never tried to take any of the girls home with him (despite i'm sure plenty of them wishing he would!).

  34. I met him at the premiere party for Rushmore at the Harvard club 10 years ago. He was totally charming and gave my newly arrived friend from Colorado all this advice about getting to know the city (he was very big on the Circle Line) - this kind of makes me love him even more (and I am so far away from being a 20-something hipster)

    Hmm. Does that picture seem a little off to anyone else? As in, skillfully photoshopped? Replacing another figure in the original photo with "Bill"? (My first impression, at first glance, was that this looks like a cardboard cutout.)

    For example, there's something off about the way that hand rests on his shoulder... and everything adjacent to or in (non)contact with the outline of his body. Also, something seems artificial about that shadow along his shoulders... as if applied to "realistically" blend him in with his surroundings...

    Am I imagining this? I very well might be. It seems plausible enough that this could be true. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a bit of a hoax...

    well the blogging world is very small. another blogger who reads your blog and is friends with a blogger who commented on this post and is in her early twenties had a special friendship with Bill all the way back in march and blogged about it. Poor wife. Reliving his youth hanging out with college kids. I thought it was weird at he time but i now see its his habit.
