Alex and I escaped from the city this weekend to relax at the Jersey shore. We stayed at this lovely B&B and swam in the ocean, read books on the porch and ate chicken sandwiches with fries. Alex body-surfed but I was a wuss about the waves and only went up to my knees. Overall, the beach was gorgeous and everyone was really friendly. We even met a dude with a pet parrot!
so lovely. yea, that's not the part of Jersey I know. my mom has a house in seaside park. it's great in the off-season. isn't it wonderful to have a porch?! xo
