Today's Girl Crush.

Beauty is hard to deconstruct (symmetrical features are apparently good, but what else?), so it's interesting to think about what draws you to people. Personally, I love cool-shaped mouths. Audrey Tautou and this flickr baby are just gorgeous. And here's today's girl crush, for obvious reasons.

    Good question -- I think I mostly look at the overall shape of someone's face/head. As if I were to outline it on a page.

  5. noses. i have a bad one so i always look at other peoples. if someone has a perfect little nymph nose i sit up and take notice. mostly out of jealousy. :) also, hairlines and eyebrows.

    ps- this girl reminds me of january jones a little bit.

  23. I always notice eyelashes. I went out with this guy who had the most interesting eyelashes - they were very dark at the start and then got lighter and lighter as they progressed to the tips. Despite the fact that we only had a few dates, I still think fondly of him because of those eyelashes :)

    Of course strong jawlines and cheekbones are beautiful, but sometimes they can make a woman look a little harsh.... i like it when i see some kind of soft and sweetness in someone's face..

  40. i personally think that people with a pouty upper lip automatically draw attention. if you think about it, a full lower lip is practically commonplace, so when along comes someone with a fuller upper lip, with a side of dimples, as is the case here, then it's hook line and sinker. :)
