I know, I know, everyone's getting a little sick of Sex & the City coverage, but I wanted to mention this book about the movie. It shows EVERY ensemble worn by Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha and lists the designers of each piece. Plus, there are interviews with Patricia Field and Michael Patrick King and behind-the-scenes stories of all the clothes. I wouldn't buy it, but my, um, coffee table might.

Sex & the City book
I know, I know, everyone's getting a little sick of Sex & the City coverage, but I wanted to mention this book about the movie. It shows EVERY ensemble worn by Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha and lists the designers of each piece. Plus, there are interviews with Patricia Field and Michael Patrick King and behind-the-scenes stories of all the clothes. I wouldn't buy it, but my, um, coffee table might.

ReplyDeletei actually bought the book right after watching the movie -i'm so glad i did! i needed to know who designed what, and where her furniture came from (this was before anyone was blogging about it). it's certainly worth the $20!

ReplyDeletei feel bad to say this...but i saw two episodes of sex in the city (re-runs, and long after the show stopped playing on tv)...and i must say, it didn't do anything for me. but it has obviously done so much for the whole world.. ;)

i have to confess that i was really, truly happy when i found out that book was going to be published. i already own the book that features the outfits from the tv series and still love to flip through it. i'm gonna buy it.
