This is one of the more random posts here on Cup of Jo (along with this and this), but my dad just emailed me these photos of himself (taken for an article in Michigan), and I adore them. The photographer really captured his serious and funny sides, as well as his kind eyes. Happy belated Father's Day, Dad!

ReplyDeletethe tie is actually a freebie from a beaujolais nouveau party we once went to. my dad loves it and everyone always compliments him. i guess it's his wine-y side coming out! :)

ReplyDeleteI sent the pictures to Fofanna because I thought the photos were about as flattering to me as a lying camera can make them; and "Quick, look at these, captured, because it is only going to deteriorate..."
The tie is actually Nicholas' from the NB party, and is my favorite. Have a great weekend, everyone, and I am so looking forward to joining Jo/Alex/Lucy/Paul/Nicholas et al. in England next week!
