Home Inspiration: Christmas Lights Year-Round

I know they're pretty college-dorm-room, but don't you find white fairy lights kind of magical?

  7. I have a string of lights hanging in my room year-around. It brings joy to my life - since I rent and am not able to paint the walls :-)

    Oooo ... now I'm thinking about getting a string of white lights - very nice!

    I like putting white fairy lights in a big clear vase for a nice table lamp effect!

  14. oh i agree completely. the glow of the lights is just so calming and sweet. Maybe it's the memories of christmas or college days, but i love them nonetheless!

  17. when my husband and i moved into our first place together (a rental) the tub area was not so sweet, so he hung little christmas lights around the ceiling top and framed the area in soft, calming light. it did make an otherwise ugly space a little more magical.

  19. I love white fairy lights. I have to admit I'm allways tempted to leave my all white lights up all year round instead of just at christmass. When I was a baby my Mum had little fairy lights in my room.

  22. I know what you mean, I was thinking of putting some up in my room...but i had to ask myself "am I getting too old for posters and fairy lights?"

  31. I love their soft glow and it always reminds me of the holidays. In ou house, m mom kept them on from Diwali to new years. It felt so festive! I use them to create a soft glow in hall leading to and in the guest bathroom when we have a party.
