Last night, I went to Bird, the adorable Brooklyn boutique, and hung out with Jennifer Mankins, the equally adorable owner. I love her playful, sweet taste and how she spotlights lots of Brooklyn-based designers. Here's my spring wish list, now that my shopping hiatus is over. Wouldn't this ensemble be perfect for a bike ride and picnic?P.S. A funny article about what Jennifer Mankins and her husband really think of each other's clothes.

i live in the west village, actually, but my boyfriend lives in park slope. carroll gardens is SO cute, though. i went to stinky cheese last night and then to Smith & Vine and totally fell in love w/smith street. you are lucky! xo

That article in nymag is great! ummmm...I'm totally loving the happy yellow sandals. great shoes for zipping around on my bike in the summer, albeit not very practical, one has to look cute though :-)
