Calming Down...

After watching that traumatic elevator video, I need a lovely, peaceful photo to chill me out. This shot from Mav should do the trick. Doesn't it make you want to head to Vancouver immediately? Wide open spaces, people!

  4. That video! Probably one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen in my life. I had to go outside for a run after seeing it, just to prove to myself that I could!

Glad you were able to relax again, too.

  8. The weather has been shifty recently in Vancouver. Last weekend we got snow, so wait 'til it relaxes before heading here, but beware of the construction =)

  9. i have the exact same thing!!! BUT you wouldnt believe waht happened to me and my family when we were in NY in 06, doing the touristy thing of going up the top of the empire state building (IT WAS AMAZZINGGGG) we delt with the lining up and waiting on the way up, but going back down a security man helped us in another direction to take a elevator that would be quicker so we did. and ofcourse OFCOURSE someone makes a joke about it getting stuck... big mistake there! only 5 secconds later does the elevator stop! 10 of us stuck in the empire state building lift!!! i have never been so scared in my life - really. thankfully after 10 or so minutes of waiting we pry the lift doors open and are at a floor haha it was like something out of a movie.
