I am liking this chair very much. Designed in 1948 by Japanese designer George Nakashima, it was just re-released by Design Within Reach. See the grooves on the seat for comfy sitting!

I love this!!! So elegant without trying too hard, right?
ReplyDeletenakashima is so amazing. his life story interesting too. he was a prisoner in the Japanese interment camps here during WWII (even though he was an American of course).
ReplyDeleteMy fave chair of his has rocker feet. Want it. Need it. Must have it. Except cant afford it.
I wouldn't want one of these. I would want a set of four. Would go perfect in my breakfast nook.
ReplyDeleteFor my part one and all have to go through this.
