Artists Swap

Last month, Montmartre's Sketchbook held a swap, where you had to send three handmade items from inspiring artists. My swap partner was Hester from the blog Tas-Ka in the Netherlands. I sent her a wooden pear, a Marcel Dzama print and letterpress placecards; she sent me an amazing package with two white Dutch ceramics, a card from Simply Photo and a dishtowel she made herself. I loved it. Thank you, Hester and Montmartre! (My cat Leo liked it, too.)

  12. I love this idea! It is so wonderful to me to see the community created in the blogging world. If only we would be this generous and thoughtful to our next-door-neighbors as well...I'll be working on that too.
