Happy 29th Birthday!

...to my lovely twin sister Lucy!!! Thank you for being so much fun to grow up with and such a smart and wise best friend. I love you and miss you. P.S. Your birthday present is late but not forgotten. P.P.S. This is the last year of our twenties! We should do something crazy!

    but seriously--Happy Birthday! You're 25-- that's a dope age- it is a much prettier age number than anything since 18 or before 33. In fact, what better age is there number wise? 25 is beautiful. Okay, you might think "oh heck nick! I'm the most beautiful age ever--what am I going to do now!" but don't worry--you'll actually figure it out in time, and guess what-- in fact, even if you totally ruin this year, it doesn't matter, because what age you feel is what really matters. if you had now idea what age you are how old would you guess? I doubt 25. I would guess Im 22, but can't guess what age you feel without being you . so imagine this. maybe right now you feel 23. You'll still get to do your golden 25th year (feelwise) later on unless you skip it. but even THAT doesn't really matter, because the prettiness of 25 is numeric, not agey. you've been a star at every age i've known you--wrap your pretty head around that one.

    Okay--I know it wasn't written for you, but you get the idea! Basically, age isn't a number. Barf!
