  1. Excellent! There was a great Berlin-art-scene-type article that I was reading the other day - in a back issue of Wallpaper mag. Should I find it for you?

  2. oops. Whitewall mag. Spring 07. A nice little interview with Sabrina van der Ley. Quoting her response to a question about Berlin being the new New York, she says, "Yes! And it's much cheaper! Berlin is a boomtown for art!...It [the art scene] really started on an underground level. One of these [empty spots and empty building where artists could work] was turned into the Kunst-Werke Berlin (KW), which is now the partner of P.S.1. Then a lot of national and international galleries moved in."

You must look into this KW reference. It sounds great.

A beautiful place to go to is C/O Berlin Gallery
(co-berlin.com), another place to feel well and find nice things is the Stilwerk Berlin (Kantstraße 17 near by the station Zoologischer Garten). And Berlin has a lot flewmarkets on sundays, always a pleassure Bernauer Straße (Station). Best Sushi in town are made by kuchi.de. What else, Mitte is where everything happens (right in the *middle* of berlin). Take a few walks there (start Oranienburger Straße) and you'll find nice little shops in nice little streets with young designers, some arties and really good food. CU in Berlin;o)
