Spooning

This post was originally published on September 14th, 2007. I now have one nice spoon.

Now and again, a trend will take the design blogging world by storm. First, there was clocky; then there was the Eames rocker. This fall, my friends, there are spoons. (Apparently the book above was the inspiration. Here are the resulting awesome photos from Kelly, Lena and Heather.)
Sadly, I have no nice spoons (not one!) so I cannot take part.

Everytime I see a play on the word spoon/spooning I think of my nickname at college...Spooner...But Im not telling you why I was given that name.

Cute post! I just wreck spoons..it's like I toss them around the Kitchen or something cause they can never stay in good condition. Great post!

My roommate is obsessed with spoons, addicted. I can't count the number of times she has come home with a 'I couldn't not buy it' spoon. Coincidently, our utensil collection is a mismatched assortment of silver.

Love it! The same collectors might like Tracy Kendall's "Eat" wallpaper!
