Mirror, mirror, on the wall
LauraB recently did a great post about mirrors. Wouldn't you love to live in a big old house with a big old mirror? This room feels like a mix of English and French.

so pretty!! I went to the Neiman Marcus outlet at Woodbury commons a few weeks ago and they have TONS of beautiful antique mirrors that look exactly like this, and they are way marked down...
id only want that house if the big old mirror was strategically placed such that you always looked good in it. you know those mirrors? we all have them in our lives. the lighting on them is just soft enough so you always look in them and think, 'im pretty good lookin.' and you know where they are; theyre you're go-tos. the mirror in the men's bathroom here is like that. i check it before i leave at night for that extra boost of confidence. never fails me, even if i have a large blemish on my mug. ironically, the mirror in my own bedroom is terrible in this way. i never look in it. makes me look old and ghastly.

omg that is so hilarious! you are totally right. the full-length mirror in alex's bathroom is like a circus mirror -- it makes you look super tan and thin and amazing. it's kind of soft with backlit lighting, ahh, amazing.
but the mirror in the girls' bathroom at work makes me want to cry a little.

What a beautiful room, and a beautiful mirror. I wonder if it is sunny in the morning? Wouldn't it be great to have your morning coffee and paper there, with the sun streaming in throught those windows.

The mirror in my room is a circus mirror too. The bad kind. I am much rounder in there than I think (hope!) I am in real life.
