So Good, So Good

I'm a huge fan of typographic prints, and I'm a hopeless romantic. Put them together and what have you got? This amazing poster. (Look how cool it looks in a house.) I would buy one immediately, but alas they're sold out. Anyone think they could make one??

  3. Mmm. I wish I were good enough at printing to achieve that sort of fidelity with text. If I were to try a solely typographical image, it would just come out all mediocre.

  4. i asked bene's design director Jesse if he knew how this could be reproduced, and here is his awesome answer....

"from the image it looks like a wood type print (as the coverage is kind of rough). if that's the case
it's going to be difficult to find the exact face and size of face. you might be able to get something similar if you use a face like helvetica neue extra condensed or berthold akzidenz grotesch extra
condensed or zurich extra condensed (which has similar O's but dissimilar R's) and then modify it to be even more condensed. then you might be able t to reproduce the poor printing by convincing a silk screener to do it for you and give you bad coverage. i could do it but it would take a few hours to do it right."

    genius.
