Prada (above) made a huge splash this spring with their collection of bright, silky dresses paired with wrap turbans. Too bad the dress prices soar into the thousands. (Even the turbans are a whopping $695!!)

these headbands are super pretty. speaking of selling a kidney, did you know that there are several towns somewhere abroad (i want to say india) where the majority of residents have only one kidney? the reason is the combo of poverty and "transplant tourism." sorry, that was kind of an inappropriate comment for a cool post about silk.
