A little bird in a little house between two buildings in Berlin. (This reminds me of that children's cartoon about the little house that gets built around until it's squeezed into a city. What was that called?) Berlin especially seems like such a fascinating place. Its contemporary art scene is supposed to be amazing, and I also just saw the movie The Lives of Others, which was incredibly compelling.Anyway, happy urban dwelling, little bird!

"The Little House"! We saw it as a cartoon, but the story was first a book 60+ years ago. It was written by Virginia Lee Burton, who also wrote Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel.
